Understand the food additive standard definition

  Countries around the world are not the same definition of food additive, the United Nations Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) Joint Codex Alimentarius Commission on food additives is defined as: food additives is generally a small amount of consciously added to food to improve food appearance, flavor, and the nature of organizational structure or storage of non-nutritive substances.
